We have a proactive and passionate PTA at Kingsmoor. The Parents and Teachers Association bring together parents, carers and school staff to work towards our common goal which is to provide support to the children and school by raising vital funds. Proceeds from events are used to purchase additional items for the school, help fund activities such as drama club or swimming lessons and to help subsidise outings.
The PTA work closely with the school and wherever possible will help schools with events such as providing every child with a much needed ice pole at sports day and providing bouncy castles at the Royal wedding party. We regularly host fundraising events like School discos, Summer Fetes and Christmas Bazaars, as well as run Cake sales and Tuck shop. All these events are impossible to run without the help of our volunteers. This year they are planning an end of year Prom for Year 6.
The PTA always welcomes and encourages new members. Meeting new people, learning more about what goes on in Kingsmoor, having a say in how money should be spent, and making a difference to the children’s school experience are just some of the benefits you will gain by being involved in our PTA.
Our meetings are informal and are open to everyone, so why not come along to the next one to see for yourself.
