The main purpose of the project was to raise students’ awareness of current environmental issues. Teachers from Portugal, Turkey, Romania Macedonia and the UK have met together to plan a series of exciting lessons around current global topics such as:
- Climate change
- Recycling
- Pollution
- Deforestation
- Endangered species
- Sustainability We have also taken our learning outside of the classroom and have included activities such as community marches trying to raise awareness of global issues such as climate change; we have held fashion shows at school using reusable materials and we have participated in litter picks in our local area all with the aim of improving the world in which we live.
