Healthy Schools Statement

A Healthy School is one that actively seeks to promote and improve the health and well being of the whole school community. Through planned activities, Kingsmoor Academy will aim to:

  • support children and young people in developing healthy behaviours
  • help to raise student achievement
  • help to reduce health inequalities
  • help promote social inclusion

Dinners and Packed Lunches

Parents can choose to provide their child with a healthy packed lunch or pay for a school dinner, which currently costs £2.55 per day. Meals must be paid for in advance as we are not able to offer credit. Payments can be made via the MCAS app (My Child At School):

Free School Meals

Please note, if your child is in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, they are automatically entitled to a Universal Free School Meal (UFSM).

If you think your child may be entitled to free School Meals (FSM), please complete the Pupil Premium Application Form using the link below.  It is important that you complete a form, even if your child already receives a Universal Free School Meal, as the School receives additional money to support your child.
