Dear Parents and Carers,
I am delighted to share some wonderful news with you which we are incredibly proud of. Kingsmoor Academy has received a personal letter of congratulations from the Secretary of State for Education, recognising the excellent outcomes achieved by our disadvantaged pupils at the end of the 2024–25 academic year. She recognised our performance as being among the very best nationally.
This national acknowledgement reflects the outstanding dedication of our staff team and the remarkable effort shown by our pupils. It is a proud moment for our whole school community and affirms the high expectations, ambition and care that underpin everything we do at Kingsmoor.
The letter also highlights the strength of our practice and encourages us to continue sharing what we do well with other schools across the region. This is a testament to the collective commitment of everyone connected with Kingsmoor Academy—pupils, families, staff, governors, ATT and our wider community.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to you, our parents and carers, for the support you give your children every day. Your partnership makes a significant difference.
We will continue striving to ensure that every child at Kingsmoor has the very best opportunity to succeed and we look forward to building on this success together.
Warmest regards,
Angie Skinner
Principal
