Dear Parents and Carers,
 
School Closure:  Monday 12th December 2022
 
We have made the decision to close Kingsmoor Academy today.  It is not safe for staff to travel and unfortunately we do not have enough staff who live locally to be able to open the school and run it safely due to ratios.  
 
Teachers will be asked to set learning on Purple Mash for your children to complete online from home.
 
We will send a further update later today regarding whether school can reopen tomorrow.  
 
We apologise for any inconvenience this causes, but we are sure you will agree that the safety of pupils and staff is paramount.
